Ecological Regeneration
Soil Health
- On-farm organic fertilizers made from compost, coffee pulp, and biochar.
- Minimal tillage with natural grasses between rows to conserve soil and water.
- Nitrogen-fixing shade trees (carbon, guanijiquil) enrich soils naturally.
Water Stewardship
- 100% of all water used on the farm is harvested directly from the mountain, stored in above-ground tanks and underground collection systems connected by pipe.
- Modern water-efficient wet mill reduces water use.
- Honey water treatment system with limestone-lined beds purifies wastewater before release.
Biodiversity & Forest Conservation
- Diverse shade canopy of guava, carbon, guanijiquil, álamo, oak, and pine trees.
- Bananas intercropped throughout the farm for shade, soil health, and food security.
- 300 acres of untouched forest preserve habitat for birds, white-tailed deer, wild cats, and countless other species.
